About the course

The Sidemount Diver specialty teaches you to configure and dive with cylinders mounted along your sides instead of on your back. You'll learn proper equipment setup, trim control, gas management, and emergency procedures while enjoying better streamlining and comfort in the water.

Sidemount gives you flexibility, balance, and redundancy, which is why so many advanced divers prefer it for both recreational and technical diving. It's also the configuration many divers carry forward into cave and wreck training.
