The Self-Reliant Diver specialty is built for experienced divers who want to strengthen self-sufficiency, planning, and problem-solving. You'll learn gas management, redundant equipment use, navigation, and how to handle problems without direct buddy assistance.
The course doesn't replace buddy diving; it makes you a more capable, aware, and prepared diver whether you're solo or in a team. You'll complete knowledge development and three open-water dives around Roatán to put it into practice.
